Oran Park Baseball Field has officially opened along O’Keefe Drive on Saturday 31 May!
The $8.1 million facility, delivered by Greenfields Development Company (GDC) with partial funding support from Camden Council, features a full-size competition field, an amenities building, and over 100 parking spaces – including four accessible bays. The grand opening event welcomed excited locals and even hosted the first games for the Mets Baseball Club Inc.
The new facility is co-located with Barramurra Public School and provides great benefits for both park users and the school community. It also has provisions for two more minor fields meaning the venue can grow in capacity right alongside the sport.
So grab your glove – Oran Park’s newest diamond is open and waiting!
