Official Opening of Julia Reserve Youth Precinct

We are very close to completing works on Julia Reserve and the Youth and Recreation building.

Although parts of the park have been completed, some elements are still under construction and therefore the site remains a construction site.

An official opening event will be held on Saturday 7 March with more details to be provided shortly.

We are working on trying to partially open the park so that the community can start enjoying this fantastic new space. We will keep the Oran Park Town community updated with any changes. 

Julia Reserve offers a number of attractions for young people and sitting at the centrepiece is an integrated multi-dimensional skate park with skateable elements featured throughout the park.  The reserve also includes a basketball court, ping pong tables, kickabout space, shelters and seating, all of which are now complete, however not available just yet due to surrounding works. 

Please bear with us as work continues on parts of the park that are not complete.  For the next few weeks works will continue on completing the parkour area, paths to the north of the site and installing the artwork on the mural wall adjacent to the basketball court.  Work will also continue on the completion of the youth and recreation building which includes amenities.

The area will continue to be fenced off for the safety of workers and members of the public until such time as work is complete.
