We advise that road works will be taking place on Oran Park Drive between Peter Brock Drive and Podium Way to facilitate a new road connection to Fordham Way.
Road works will commence 19 July 2021 and are expected to be completed by 8 October 2021.
During construction, one lane of the north bound lane of Oran Park Drive will intermittently be closed to traffic to enable these works to be carried out safely. During this time vehicles will still be able to travel north on Oran Park Drive, but will be restricted to travel in one lane only.
Throughout the construction period, the footpath on the western side of Oran Park Drive will also be closed. Pedestrians will need to cross over to the eastern side of Oran Park Drive using the traffic signals at each intersection or alternatively use the paths within Julia Creek west of TRN House and Fordham Way. The bus stop will also be relocated in front of the TRN House car park.
As a result of these road works, minor delays may be experienced, however traffic management will be in place throughout the duration of works to keep this to a minimum.
Once complete, these works will provide improved road connection to the Oran Park Town commercial precinct and the new service station site.
