Greenfield’s Development Company has lodged a development application with Camden Council for a major film and television studio in Oran Park’s Employment Zone.
Submitted on Friday, 28 February, the landmark project aims to expand Sydney’s screen production capacity, create jobs, and address a critical shortage of studio space, helping NSW remain a competitive destination for both international and local film projects.
Plans for Oran Park Studios include three large soundstages, production offices, working spaces for all departments and a multideck parking facility.
A project of this scale will require significant investment, and Greenfield’s Development Company will be looking at additional funding opportunities to bring this project to life.
The project will now undergo development assessment by Camden Council.
