Greenfields Development Company (GDC) have completed works on the road connection from Peter Brock Drive to Springfield Road.
This new piece of road infrastructure will provide another connection for Oran Park Town and will benefit residents travelling via Camden Valley Way.
With Oran Park Drive getting busier, GDC recognised the importance of providing another connection to Camden Valley Way, in advance of the future Catherine Fields precinct being redeveloped. With this in mind, GDC purchased the adjoining land bordering Oran Park Town to enable a private road to be constructed connecting Peter Brock Dive to Springfield Road.
To complete this connection, Camden Council have programmed upgrade works to be undertaken in Springfield Road from 23 November to 28 November 2020, with linemarking to be completed by 4 December, subject to weather conditions.
Council has advised that these works are not linked to recently completed Rickard Road alignment investigation undertaken by Transport for NSW, as part of future residential development in this area.
We will provide another update once Council has completed their upgrade works and the new connection is open.
